Robert Rosenthal, MD, Co-President of the Foundation for Inner Peace discusses the holidays of Halloween and Thanksgiving, tying together the need to remove the masks of ego identity and the healing power of gratitude: of giving thanks that we remain eternally as God created us.
Dr. Bob addresses the ways in which we craft a self-concept and wear it as a mask that hides the face of truth from ourselves and in our brothers. Forgiveness is the “solvent” that gently peels away the layers of the mask to reveal our true Identity. It is this and only this for which we can be truly grateful.
