Why does A Course in Miracles (ACIM) say that it is a self-taught Course when it is about relationships?
Why does my safety lie in defenselessness?
Why must I forgive someone or something by believing nothing ever happened in the first place?
Many of us have felt moronic when introduced to some of the complex, cerebral, and psychological ACIM concepts about the ego, separation, and forgiveness. As Spirit seems to work in playful harmony with irony and reminds us to remember to laugh, sometimes we still find ourselves entangled in a weave of serious-minded misperceptions.
Join Course teacher and author Alan Cohen, and a panel of Course practitioners to discuss, through illustrative anecdotes, how to easily comprehend many Course principles, particularly its unique definition of “forgiveness.”
Let’s figure this out together…
“Nothing is so easy to recognize as truth.” (ACIM, T-7.XI.5:7)

Veronica Mejia Barney was introduced to A Course in Miracles by her mother at the age of seven. As a child, she recognized the deep ancestral call that the book’s pages transmitted. Veronica is now a committed student, teacher, and translator for A Course in Miracles, and travels to share the message of the Course. She shares, “Since I was 16 years old, I have been translating events and workshops into Spanish, and I feel honored to share such a powerful message with the Spanish-speaking world. The Course continues to inspire and change my life, providing me with a north star to guide my thoughts. I am humbled to be of service so that others can hear the message through my voice.” Veronica is the director of her own Interior Design firm, a sports lover, and a vegan gastronomy enthusiast.
