It’s summer in the States, and just like the rising temperatures, our spiritual practice heats up as the ego sizzles in our awareness. Meet Our Speakers
Allan Ishac is the best-selling author of New York’s 50 Best Places To Find Peace And Quiet and New York’s 50 Best Places To Take Children. He has been an ACIM student since 1986 and is a frequent contributor to Miracles Magazine. His debut novel, THE MYSTIC IN THE MEWS: A Metaphysical Adventure Story, was published in June and is the first spiritual adventure novel inspired by A Course In Miracles.
A seeker for seven decades, Elizabeth Keats traveled the world searching for truth. A beloved guru in India initiated her; she experienced every wild and crazy therapeutic adventure and sat on the closet floor for hours attempting to meditate. Truth eluded her completely while anger, impatience, and arrogance hung around. When she retired from teaching, she made A Course In Miracles (ACIM) her full-time job, attending study groups, conferences, and retreats. She became an ordained minister through Pathways of Light and a student/teacher of Miracles Live 365 through the SpeakEasy spiritual community. The Course is transforming her from the inside out. She’s still a beginner, but she loves to share the joy and wisdom of ACIM.
Jacqueline Boss is an artist and traveler who used creativity and emotional intuition to guide her through an intense spiritual awakening, during which she began receiving downloads from the Universe that helped her to access new ways of understanding and to deliver the information to others. She was led to A Course In Miracles in response to a request she posed to the Universe: send me your rulebook. She is currently building a course to help others use emotions to understand the Universe and access intuition, awakening, and enlightenment.
Having had a desire to understand “reality” and “truth” for as long as she can recall, Celina Granato’s curiosity and pursuits eventually led her to begin studying the spiritual masterpiece A Course in Miracles (ACIM) in 2005 which ultimately became the framework she used to apply a spiritual thought system of true forgiveness. Originally from the Midwestern U.S., Celina was raised in a salt-of-the-earth community with a multicultural upbringing. She believes that relationships are great opportunities to practice peace, and knows it’s possible to live normally while being uncompromising to ACIM principles. She works as the Communications Manager at the Foundation for Inner Peace.
Tamara Morgan is the daughter of Judith Skutch Whitson and has participated with the Foundation for Inner Peace since its inception, pioneering its special projects and initiatives formally since 1984. Tam met Scribes Drs. Helen Schucman and William Thetford in 1975 and was close to them for the rest of their lives. It was through deep guidance and inner directive that Tam stepped into her current position as President of the Foundation for Inner Peace.
Meet Our Spanish Translator
Veronica Mejia Barney was introduced to A Course in Miracles by her mother at the age of seven. As a child, she recognized the deep ancestral call that the book’s pages transmitted. At 14, she began to practice the Course and embarked on a journey of studying and integrating its principles, which continue to guide her daily life. Veronica is now a committed student, teacher, and translator for A Course in Miracles, and travels to share the message of the Course. She shares, “Since I was 16 years old, I have been translating events and workshops into Spanish, and I feel honored to share such a powerful message with the Spanish-speaking world. The Course continues to inspire and change my life, providing me with a north star to guide my thoughts. I am humbled to be of service so that others can hear the message through my voice.” Veronica is the director of her own Interior Design firm, a sports lover, and a vegan gastronomy enthusiast.
