Meet Our Speakers
Carolina Corada is a Venezuelan international A Course in Miracles (ACIM) conference speaker who has led retreats and seminars at universities, rehab centers, orphan’s homes, in Latin America, USA and Europe. Her work devotedly springs from three decades of intense study and practice of A Course in Miracles. IntroDanza© is her self-inquiry method. She uses music and movement to support the teachings of ACIM and conceives it as ‘her way’ of releasing the judgmental mind. Carolina opens hearts to the acceptance of the Divine. She has been called a ‘Teacher of Peace’ who ‘walks her talk.’She is the author of The Discipline of Peace (currently in translation) and the co-founder and organizer of the Ibiza Enlight Festival as a multicultural celebration of ACIM. She currently lives in Spain.
Elisa María Valentine (Wynn) is the daughter of Rosa María Wynn, the devoted Spanish translator and world-renowned teacher of A Course in Miracles (ACIM). Born shortly after the translation began, Elisa spent her early years immersed in the teachings of the Course. Rosa María’s profound understanding of the Course, which she read over 200 times during the 10-year translation process, deeply influenced Elisa’s upbringing. Following her mother’s passing in 2017, Elisa has embraced the call to continue her legacy. She now manages Rosa María’s foundation, The Aurora Fellowship, and has completed the second edition of her mother’s book, El Aprendiz Impecable. She has also redesigned the beloved Tarjetas de Ayuda, both of which are available at Rosamariawynn.com.
José Lorenzo Rodriguez is a dedicated A Course in Miracles (ACIM) teacher and therapist with over two decades of experience. Having witnessed the Course’s transformative healing power in his own life and the lives of countless others, he is passionate about helping others heal. José has facilitated workshops and retreats worldwide, combining his therapeutic approach with a clear, practical understanding of the Course’s principles to guide individuals toward healing and spiritual growth. His commitment to serving the global community of the course can also be seen in his work as a translator and in helping organize ACIM-related events. Currently residing in Denmark, José is originally from Venezuela.
A Cuban American born in Miami, Maria Felipe is a dynamic motivational speaker and author of Live Your Happy who is changing lives one laugh at a time. With a passion for inspiring others, she has become a sought-after speaker who motivates and encourages audiences with her unique blend of humor and wisdom. Before becoming a spiritual teacher, she appeared in national commercials and hosted successful TV shows, including World Wrestling Entertainment shows with live audiences of twenty thousand. After experiencing an inward calling, she changed course and studied with Pathways of Light, an accredited religious school inspired by A Course in Miracles. With a warm and engaging style, Maria has helped countless individuals overcome obstacles and live happier! People magazine once called Maria Felipe “Una campeona sin rival” or “a champion without rival.” Aside from her career, Maria loves being a mom and wife and is grateful to live in sunny Florida with her family.
Miguel Iribarren is an economist with a postgraduate degree in Group Analysis and Management from the University of Barcelona. He has been a student and practitioner of Eastern and Western spiritual traditions for over forty-five years. He has translated over three hundred and fifty works on all subjects related to psychology, meditation, and personal growth, including Eckhart Tolle’s The Power of Now. Miguel is also a Craniosacral Therapist and has worked with many prominent names in the therapy world, including Stephen Porges, Peter Levine, Franklyn Sills, and Raymond Castellino. In 2009, with his two partners, he founded El Grano de Mostaza, a publishing company dedicated to disseminating works related to A Course in Miracles. Since 2015, he has been facilitating A Course in Miracles groups. He lives with his wife, Astrid, and Don Gato in Pineda de Mar, Barcelona.
Patricia “Pato” Besada started her journey home with A Course in Miracles in 1998. As a former university professor, her call was—and still is—deeply associated with extending the principles of forgiveness. She has facilitated workshops and seminars in Chile, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, Spain, and Argentina, her home country. For ten years, she freely distributed a newsletter with articles by the most well-known English-speaking ACIM teachers. She proofread Gary Renard’s The Disappearance of the Universe, translated Jon Mundy’s Living A Course in Miracles, and translated Accept this Gift by Frances Vaughn and Roger Walsh. She is a dedicated writer and author of The Book of Miracles and Far Beyond Words, both books published by El Grano de Mostaza in Spain. Her new book, Notes by the Light of Miracles, will soon be published by Editorial Kier of Argentina.
Silvia Corzo is a Personal Transformation Coach, Gong and Bowl Sound Therapist, and facilitator of A Course in Miracles. Her greatest talent is teaching people to connect with their inner power so they can shine and manifest their dream reality. Today, her greatest purpose is to transmit these learnings to those who want to transform their lives. She is immensely happy teaching others to connect with their power, discover their true essence, let go of their fears, set limits, and take charge of themselves with respect for their life experiences. With her talents as a communicator, inspirer, and teacher, she dedicates every day of her life to guiding others in their process of inner growth. Silvia is the audiobook narrator of the Foundation’s published UCDM Workbook Lessons. She resides in Bogotá, Colombia.
From an early age, Celina Granato desired to understand the nature of reality. By her mid-twenties, she had explored various paths in search of authentic peace when she was introduced to A Course in Miracles (ACIM), which in 2005 became her primary spiritual practice, guiding her through life’s challenges with a focus on true forgiveness. Originally from the midwestern region of the U.S., Celina was raised in a salt-of-the-earth community with a multicultural upbringing and understands interpersonal relationships as the greatest opportunities for doing inner work. She believes that living simply and staying grounded while being uncompromising to ACIM principles leads to genuine Course learning and spiritual growth. Since 2023, she has served as Communications Manager at the Foundation for Inner Peace.
Tamara Morgan is the daughter of Judith Skutch Whitson and has participated with the Foundation for Inner Peace since its inception, pioneering its special projects and initiatives formally since 1984. Tam met Scribes Drs. Helen Schucman and William Thetford in 1975 and were close to them for the rest of their lives. It was through deep guidance and inner directive that Tam stepped into her current position as President of the Foundation for Inner Peace.
Meet Our Spanish Translator
Veronica Mejia Barney was introduced to A Course in Miracles by her mother at the age of seven. As a child, she recognized the deep ancestral call that the book’s pages transmitted. At 14, she began to practice the Course and embarked on a journey of studying and integrating its principles, which continue to guide her daily life. Veronica is now a committed student, teacher, and translator for A Course in Miracles and travels to share the message of the Course. She shares, “Since I was 16 years old, I have been translating events and workshops into Spanish, and I feel honored to share such a powerful message with the Spanish-speaking world. The Course continues to inspire and change my life, providing me with a north star to guide my thoughts. I am humbled to be of service so that others can hear the message through my voice.” Veronica is the director of her Interior Design firm, a sports lover, and a vegan gastronomy enthusiast.
