Some celebrations are simply too good to happen only once.
Last October, thousands of A Course in Miracles students around the world gathered for a joyful day of remembrance, inspiration, and gratitude to celebrate the Course’s 50th anniversary in our online event, Light The World.
This August, we’d love to gather with you again.
The story of A Course in Miracles unfolded through a series of inspired steps from the first printing and the founding of the Foundation for Inner Peace in 1975 to the publication of the first hardcover edition in June 1976. As this remarkable anniversary continues, we’re delighted to invite you back for a newly remastered presentation of Light the World, thoughtfully enhanced for a richer viewing experience.
The original event has been lovingly remastered into three evenings, with enhanced audio, historical photographs, and added imagery that bring the story to life in fresh ways.
Whether you joined us live last October or somehow managed to miss all the fun, this is more than a replay. It’s another opportunity to remember where the story began, celebrate where it has led, and enjoy being together again. Pull up a chair, bring a cup of tea, or popcorn if you’re feeling festive, and join us.
Presented over six weeks, the series begins with Part One: How it All Began in August, followed by Part Two and Part Three in September. This page is only for Part 1 registration.
Part 1: The Story Begins
(approx. 1 hour, 45 minutes)
Before A Course in Miracles found its way into the hands of millions, it began with two reluctant scribes, four faithful founders, and a series of remarkable decisions guided one step at a time. Through archival photographs, historical reflections, and firsthand accounts, revisit the remarkable events that helped begin a living movement that continues to touch millions around the world.
We laughed. We learned. We remembered. We cried a little. We smiled a lot. Last October reminded us that history isn’t just something we remember. It’s something we continue together.
So let’s gather again! Invite a friend. Say hello in the live chat. Settle into your favorite chair. And yes… popcorn remains entirely optional (although history suggests it pairs surprisingly well with miracles).
The story continues… and we’d love for you to be part of it. We’ll save you a seat.
In Light,
Foundation for Inner Peace
