Love Isn’t Earned. The Ego Is Disappointed. Let’s Discuss.
“Conversations On Course” with Jackie Lora Jones
Seminario web disponible en español: próximamente
The Course opens by telling us that it “does not aim at teaching the meaning of love, for that is beyond what can be taught” (ACIM, T-in.1:6). Which is both deeply comforting and mildly inconvenient—because if love can’t be taught, fixed, earned, or perfected… well, there goes the ego’s entire five-year plan. 😏
In this honest conversation, Celina Granato and Jackie Lora Jones explore what it actually looks like to use the Course—not to polish the spiritual self, but to gently undo it. This is forgiveness as lived experience, not theory… and definitely not performance.
Together, we explore:
✨ How forgiveness actually works in the mind (hint: it’s not about being saintly), and how it meets us in real time, even when nothing feels resolved yet
✨ Why the ego’s narratives sound so reasonable—and how simply noticing them loosens their grip
✨ What it truly means to “forget,” to “let it all go,” and to allow forgiveness to meet us exactly where we are—even in loss, memory, and change (spoken by two women caregiving loved ones with dementia—so yes, forgiveness gets a lot of practice)
This 90-minute conversation is for anyone who’s tired of trying to be enlightened, mildly suspicious of their own spiritual efforting, and ready to relax into what the Course has been saying all along: nothing real can be threatened—and you don’t have to work so hard.
Come as you are. The Holy Spirit already knows the mess… and with just a little willingness, is more than ready to help us remember—together. Our Guest: Jackie Lora Jones is a longtime A Course in Miracles teacher and author whose work focuses on practical forgiveness and inner guidance, helping students apply the Course to everyday life.
NOTE: The Foundation for Inner Peace does not endorse any individual interpretation of A Course in Miracles. We aim to provide a space for open discussion and exploration of its teachings.
