Former NASA (Apollo 14) astronaut, Dr. Edgar Mitchell, the sixth man to walk on the moon, also founded the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) in 1973 after his mystical experiences in space. What might be less publicly known about Dr. Mitchell is that he was also a student and teacher of A Course in Miracles.
