The Story of A Course in Miracles: The Forgotten Song (Part One) & The Song Remembered (Part Two)
Seminario web disponible en español: La historia de Un Curso de Milagros: La canción olvidada y la canción recordada
With A Course in Miracles’ 50th anniversary in 2025, we reflect on the remarkable journey that brought this teaching of true forgiveness into the world.
The Story of A Course in Miracles is a two-part documentary that profoundly explores the origins and impact of what students worldwide affectionately call “the Course.”
The Story of A Course in Miracles was directed by Bridget Winter and produced in 1987.
Part One, The Forgotten Song, explores how the Course came to be, focusing on the unlikely collaboration between Drs. Helen Schucman and William Thetford, who together scribed this profound work.
Dr. Kenneth Wapnick, whose expertise in psychology and spirituality brought him into close collaboration with Helen and Bill, played a pivotal role in the Course’s development.
Judith Skutch Whitson, co-founder of the Foundation for Inner Peace, was entrusted with the manuscript and took on the vital role of publishing and introducing the Course to the world.
In Part Two, The Song Remembered, we witness how the Course profoundly impacted the lives of its early students.
NOTE: The Foundation for Inner Peace does not endorse any individual interpretation of A Course in Miracles. We aim to provide a space for open discussion and exploration of its teachings.
