FIP’s beloved Reverend Emmanuelle Rosenthal, Board Member and Communications Coordinator, transitioned on March 8, 2023. Her personal nature was inclined towards feminism, and it is with a smile we acknowledge that, in the world of form, her spirit rose through the metaphoric “glass ceiling” on International Women’s Day. Emmanuelle was founder and first admin of the Let’s Discuss ACIM Facebook Group in the spring of 2020. Having studied the Course for thirty years, she scholarly answered Course questions and authored many of our FAQ articles.
Emmanuelle said before her passing: “If anyone wishes to give something in my honor, instead of flowers or anything else, please ask them to give currency in love, time or money to the place where I’ve always chosen to give my love, time and energy: the Foundation for Inner Peace.”

Robert (as we called him) and Emmanuelle were our first true friends when we met thru our very young toddler children who were at the Waldorf School of Princeton. We enjoyed a mutual connection to ACIM and all related topics gave us many hours of deep conversation, parenting mayhem and social bliss. Those early magical days are hard to imagine, as they now join my husband who departed his physical form as well. Sophia and Avery were so deeply loved and cherished and were the bright sparks in their lives. I am so grateful to have reconnected with Emmanuelle in her last few months. She was a strong yet tender presence; intelligent, well read, deeply thinking and always warm and ready to share a hearty laugh. amazing listener. She and Robert were clearly soul mates and I would love to eavesdrop on their conversations. Avery and Sophia if you are reading these, please reach out to me (908)406-8617, love to all, Jill Miller

What a blessing it has been to know Emmanuelle. Her example as a student of A Course in Miracles and one who walked in communion with the Holy Spirit was invaluable to those of us who had the chance to experience her physical presence in this illusion. To teach is to demonstrate. Thank you, Emmanuelle for your demonstration of love, kindness, gentleness, acceptance, and faith.
Eternal rest grant unto Emmanuelle, O God
and may perpetual light shine upon her.
May she rest in peace!
Amen – and so it is!

I thank Emmanuelle for the generous and genuine way she showed up to help all the students of the Course. I’m profoundly grateful to have the recordings of the webinars she participated in, as I listen to them over and over and always find something new. She is truly a beautiful example of a teacher of God. Thank you.

My friend Emmanuelle and I corresponded rather extensively over a period of perhaps a year or so. I affectionately addressed her as “Revvy,” and she always responded with similar affection. I’m a long-time lover of ACIM but more recently am publisher of A Course of Love, so we had lots to talk about! Revvy was consistent and passionate in her views., always probing and asking questions. We had a lengthy dialogue, sometimes agreeing to disagree, yet our regard and respect for each other always overshadowed our differences. Thank you, dear Revvy, for the beauty, curiosity and intelligence you brought. With love always, Glenn
